About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Specialist to join our team at a prestigious Boutique Hotel in the outskirts of Evesham. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry section and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pastry team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts and pastries
- Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to enhance the hotel's culinary offerings
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and seasonal menu items
- Train and mentor junior team members in pastry techniques and best practices
- Manage the pastry section's inventory, ordering, and stock control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a rosette kitchen, with a strong background in pastry
- Proven track record of leading a pastry team and contributing to menu development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
