Job Summary:

Pertemps Scotland is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Courier Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and packages to customers in the Dundee area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and collect post and parcels at the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
  • Deliver letters and parcels on foot, carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg
  • Drive a vehicle to deliver parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg
  • Push/pull a trolley during deliveries

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
  • Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices

Working Conditions:

Working outdoors in all weathers is required. You will be required to walk at least 8 miles per day and may be required to work overtime or weekends.
