Polishing Technician

Pertemps Network Group are currently looking for skilled Automotive Polishers to join their team in Dagenham, London. As an Automotive Craft Specialist, you will be responsible for operating machine polishers, performing detailed hand polishing, and adhering to established processes. You will play a crucial role in enhancing product quality, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high productivity. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £31,000 (DOE) + 15% shift allowance and the opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong background in quality improvement practices, effective communication skills, and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure. They should also possess experience with paint defect correction, paint thickness measurement, and finishing techniques. In addition, they will need to comply with Health and Safety guidelines, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate with the paint department to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
