Job Title: Building Services / HVAC Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services / HVAC Engineer to join our team at Kingston University Service Company Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive repair and maintenance service for systems, plant and equipment on our university sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential issues and develop maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate with our facilities team to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to our facilities team on building services systems.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
  • Proven experience in building services engineering, preferably in a university or similar environment.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
