Job Description:
  • Support Classroom Activities: Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, promoting a love of learning among students.
  • Individual Student Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require additional help, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a safe and productive learning environment by supporting classroom behaviour management.
  • Resource Preparation: Prepare high-quality learning materials and resources to facilitate effective teaching and enhance student outcomes.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate student records and tracking progress.
  • Extra-Curricular Involvement: Participate in extra-curricular activities, enriching the school experience for students and fostering a sense of community.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting is essential, demonstrating your ability to support both teachers and students.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development are necessary, showcasing your expertise in creating inclusive learning environments.
  • Communication Skills: Develop strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively with teachers, other assistants, and support staff to achieve shared goals.

Competitive Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
