Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Council's Corporate Property Strategy, driving the transformation of our property services into a more efficient and effective operation.
  • Lead the charge in designing and implementing property change solutions, navigating complex projects, and driving asset performance management.
  • Make critical decisions that affect the long-term prosperity of our city, balancing economic efficiency with social responsibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the estate, ensuring alignment with the Council's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • MRICS qualification with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize council-owned assets, with experience in options appraisal and business case preparation.
  • Solid track record in leading strategic asset management, incorporating valuation and managing complex property transactions.
  • Experience in leading property change solutions that have a lasting impact.
  • Experience leading a team of professionals to optimize the estate.
