Job Title: Clinical Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Completion of at least 3 years' postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time/flexible basis)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Higher degree or Diploma eligible for MRCP or equivalent, Diploma of Tropical Medicine, MSc or PhD

Training & Experience:

  • Demonstration of interest in infection-related activities, including Microbiology, Virology, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Infection Control, and Infectious Diseases
  • Experience in Medical Microbiology, Infection Control, and Antimicrobial Stewardship
  • Experience in Infectious Diseases

Administration & Audit:

  • Understanding of day-to-day organisation of Microbiology, Infection Control services, and Infectious Diseases services
  • Record of undertaken audit projects

Teaching:

  • Experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and exam preparation
  • Teaching experience/qualification

Personal Skills and Attributes:

  • Effective communicator, able to work in a close-knit team and cooperate with all medical and paramedical staff
  • Flexible team player, able to cover colleagues' absence when indicated

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills
