Corporate Tax Manager

Public Practice Recruitment Ltd is seeking an exceptional Corporate Tax Manager to join a thriving and well-established, award-winning, independent firm of accountants in Cheltenham. This role offers a mix of compliance and advisory duties, overseeing the tax department and reviewing tax computations for a large portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Review corporate tax returns and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage client assignments and work collaboratively with the wider tax team to maximize client service.
- Provide high-level tax compliance and tax consultancy services to clients, researching specialist tax issues and formulating solutions.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring awareness of their requirements.
- Conduct due diligence and recognize and respond to clients' business needs, providing quality tax advice.
- Empower the tax team through appropriate delegation and effective people management.
- Consistently seek internal improvement and present opportunities to senior leadership.
- Manage margins effectively to drive profitability and engage with the mentoring and development of junior staff.
