StartMonday is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Folkestone. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the children and young people in our care, helping them to achieve positive outcomes in all aspects of their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the children, their families, and our multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the children's needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a high-quality service, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve outcomes.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a care or support role, preferably in a children's home or similar setting.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3, 4, or 5 adult and child care diploma.
- Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends.
- Right to work in the UK and a proven background in care.
