Apprentice Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our business operations team as a business operations trainee. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn and develop skills in business operations, working closely with the accounts manager to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
About the Role:
This is a 1-year apprenticeship that includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent studying and developing your skills. You'll have the chance to work at Billet Lane, Normanby Enterprise Park, and access a wide range of facilities on offer.
Responsibilities:
As a business operations trainee, you'll be responsible for supporting the accounts manager with various administrative tasks. This may include checking supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, updating sales ledger records, verifying accuracy of accounts records, and assisting with VAT returns and yearly accounts.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is approximately £18,000-£20,000 per year, depending on experience. As a business operations trainee, you'll also receive excellent benefits, including comprehensive training, opportunities for career progression, and a supportive work environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4/C). You must also be able to travel to and from work and college. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
