We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Independent Hospital Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing Section Papers and sitting on Managers Hearing Panels to ensure that clients are discharged from the Mental Health Act detention in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing Section Papers to ensure compliance with Mental Health Act regulations
  • Sitting on Managers Hearing Panels to make informed decisions about client discharge
  • Visiting wards to speak with service users and gather information
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience working with the Mental Health Act and its regulations
  • Previous work in the social work, AMHP, or legal sector, or a strong interest in mental health services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
