Job Title: Assistant Merchandiser

Join Emma Bridgewater as an Assistant Merchandiser and play a key role in ensuring the company's products are available in the right quantities, at the right time, across all sales channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Merchandiser to plan and manage merchandise inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Track and forecast sales and stock levels across all product lines, identifying opportunities to maximize sales and minimize costs.
  • Provide weekly and monthly analysis and reporting to the Merchandiser, reviewing documents in detail and maintaining accurate records.
  • Responsible for forecasting biscuit and reviewing wholesale performance, recommending actions to improve sales and profitability.
  • Utilize Excel and system skills (Phocas and NetSuite) to analyze and manipulate large datasets, drawing conclusions and developing recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound commercial judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Phocas and NetSuite.
