Electromagnetics Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electromagnetics Design Engineer to join our team at Owen Daniels. The successful candidate will have a strong background in RF and antenna product design, with a focus on the aerospace and defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF and antenna systems for aerospace and defence applications
  • Lead the development of new product designs, including research and opportunity development
  • Derive system and RF requirements from high-level requirements
  • Support legacy products in response to customer queries
  • Identify emerging technologies and direct associated research activity
Requirements:
  • Degree in electrical/electronic/antenna engineering or physics
  • Experience in RF and antenna product design, with a focus on aerospace and defence
  • Practical experience in the use of full wave simulation packages, such as CST Microwave Studio or Ansys HFSS
  • Experience in MATLAB programming
  • Ability to work in a hands-on environment and perform qualification and product acceptance testing
