Care Home Administrator

Penwortham Grange & Lodge, a large modern care home with a Good CQC rating, is seeking an experienced Care Home Administrator to join their team. Located just ten minutes from Preston Town Centre, this prestigious care home has been providing exceptional care for older individuals for over 15 years. With a commitment to excellence, they have recently won the LaingBuisson award for Excellence in Large Residential Care.
The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for residents and their representatives, managing interactions with the home management, colleagues, HR, payroll, and finance teams. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks, including record maintenance and cash handling.
- Operate rostering and payroll systems with ease.
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry duties.
- Ensure seamless communication between departments and stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with HR processes is desirable but not essential.
