Job Overview
HMP Leicester is a male prison with a capacity of 356, where 80% of prisoners are on remand. We're looking for a skilled Senior Practice Nurse to join our team.

About the Role
This is a full-time position, requiring an annual salary up to £47,466 (dependent on experience). As a Senior Practice Nurse, you'll provide clinical leadership for the Primary Care team and be accountable for your own practice. You'll work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients within the establishment.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients
• Deliver face-to-face care and lead complex wound management
• Collaborate with the scheduled care Team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Participate in regional and national career development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
• NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience working in a hospital, community, or prison environment (desired but not essential)
• Ability to work autonomously, using sound clinical expertise to identify risks to patients
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and innovative approach to healthcare delivery

Salary and Benefits
£42,094 to £47,466 per year, depending on experience. Up to £47,466 per annum FTE.
