We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction lawyer to join our team at Arbuthnot Yon. As a construction lawyer, you will play a key role in advising on high-profile net zero infrastructure projects that will help the UK reach its net zero target.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction lawyer to work on a wide range of infrastructure projects, including the construction of new substations, overhead line and underground cable routes, and offshore cable projects. You will work closely with our clients and the legal team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on NEC contracts and FIDIC contracts
  • Work closely with the legal team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and relationships
  • Provide expert advice on construction law and net zero infrastructure projects

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 3-6 years of experience as a construction lawyer
  • Experience of NEC contracts and FIDIC contracts
  • Strong knowledge of construction law and net zero infrastructure projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
