About the Role

Oval Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Pension Administration Specialist to join our expanding team. As a key member of our Pension Administration Team, you will be responsible for providing technical pension administration services to a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and make payments of scheme benefits in accordance with benefit structures, trust deeds, and rules, as well as pensions legislation.
  • Train and mentor new members of the team, helping them develop their knowledge and understanding of pension administration.
  • Check and authorize the work of other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support to the Administration Manager to help the department meet deadlines and achieve its goals.
  • Undertake project management work to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Handle queries from HMRC and DWP, and liaise confidently with clients, scheme actuaries, and other third parties.
  • Ensure compliance checking is maintained and the team works to legislative requirements.
  • Answer technical queries from members by phone, email, and letter.

About You

We are looking for an individual with previous DB pension administration experience who is looking to join a company that will invest in their development and help them expand their technical knowledge and supervisory skills.
