We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Runcorn, Cheshire. This exciting opportunity will see you working with mainly elderly service users with a range of general nursing needs.

Job Overview

This permanent role is ideal for a registered nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring dementia care. You will work under the guidance of an experienced manager, delivering high standards of care and creating person-centred-care plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.

About the Role
  • Salary: Starting from £21.50 per hour
  • Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (on a rota basis)

You will be responsible for accurately and thoroughly maintaining service users' records, administering medication, monitoring and assessing their needs, and leading a team of carers who are working under your guidance. Liaising with outside professionals and being aware of core care standards required to work within a nursing home setting are also essential aspects of this role.

Requirements
  • Be nurse qualified (ideally RGN or RMN qualified)
  • Have strong clinical skills
  • Have a clean DBS and good references
  • Be aware of the core care standards required to work within a nursing home setting
  • Ideally experienced within a nursing home background
  • Have exceptional standards and a willingness to put the care of the residents at the forefront of everything that is done
  • Have a professional attitude to your work
  • Be reliable, committed to your nursing, and able to evidence strong personal standards
  • Experience of caring for people with dementia
