About the Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Director - Engineering to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development of programmes and projects by providing commercial expertise.
  2. Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Ensure the adoption of best practices in functional quantity surveying.
  4. Conduct contract compliance audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
  5. Support the evaluation and negotiation of tenders, contract changes, and compensation events.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert for price validation and agreement, including dispute resolution.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • RICS membership or equivalent experience using NEC form of contract.
  • Strong understanding of construction or project management principles.
