Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in a mainstream classroom and SEN department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support and small group activities to students with varying needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Support students with SEN, including those with physical, emotional, or learning disabilities
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification Level 2 or above or HLTA Status
  • Experience working with children, preferably age 12-17, but primary experience will be considered
  • Understanding of SEN and experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Eager to learn and a resilience and determination to help and support children at the school
