Located in the heart of London, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cancer Care Specialist to lead our Chemotherapy team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the daily management and service development within the Chemotherapy unit.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years relevant clinical experience, with at least 2 years at Band 6 level. You will possess advanced Chemotherapy and IV administration skills, as well as cannulation/venepuncture skills. Your excellent communication and leadership abilities will enable you to educate patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Chemotherapy team and oversee the management and leadership of all staff within the unit
  • Develop and implement plans for service development and improvement
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
  • Foster collaborative working relationships with multidisciplinary teams
