We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.
About the Role
This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, with a mix of weekdays and weekends. You will be required to work 5 out of 6 Saturdays from Alresford DO and 5 out of 6 Sundays from Winchester DO.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. Overtime is paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), and full uniform provided.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do. You will also need to have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. If you are a people-person, happy walking for long periods, and working outside in any weather, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
