Key Role in Value Creation

Vitae Financial Recruitment is assisting a highly sought-after employer in London with the search for a top-calibre Strategy Finance Manager.

This key role will involve partnering with the Strategy team of a FTSE listed organisation to focus on value creation and strengthening performance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Strategy Finance to business partner the Director of Strategy, utilising financial modelling skills with strong technical and analytical capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing comprehensive financial analysis and insight to support high-quality business cases through robust financial models.
  • Assessing commercial rationale for new ventures to ensure sound decision-making.
  • Tracking and reporting on performance of new initiatives to inform strategic decisions.
  • Presenting financial information clearly, communicating risks effectively.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting project spend efficiently.
  • Fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing when necessary.
  • Delivering insightful financial analysis to aid key strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is essential.
  • Demonstrable commercial experience in FMCG or Retail, or strategy/M&A/Transactions Services from Big 4/Consulting, is desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills and good level of financial modelling are required.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and challenge/influence when necessary.
  • Adaptability and ability to work within an evolving environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Curiosity and willingness to investigate new ideas.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated character, able to work independently and maintain high standards.
Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum
