Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Technician to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As an Accounts Technician, you will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts for a wide range of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end accounts for clients, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Deliver personal and corporate tax compliance services to clients.
  • Assist with wider services, including VAT, bookkeeping, management accounts, and other responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work closely with managers and directors to ensure seamless delivery of services and to identify opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or studying for AAT, ACCA, or other relevant qualifications.
  • At least two to three years of experience in the accountancy practice sector, preparing year-end accounts and tax, VAT, bookkeeping, etc. for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
