Mechanical Operations Manager

As a Mechanical Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing mechanical operations on site, specifically in the context of water and waste water treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate staff and subcontractors involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment equipment and systems.
- Act as the key point of contact to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and partners, ensuring all mechanical work aligns with project specifications and water industry standards.
- Assist in the completion of surveys and quality inspections related to pumping stations, filtration systems, piping, valves, and other mechanical water treatment components.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues within water processing and treatment plants.
- Ensure a high level of Health & Safety compliance, particularly in hazardous water treatment environments, with a strong focus on safe working practices around pressurized systems and chemical handling.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the water treatment or waste water treatment sector, managing mechanical teams and projects.
- Strong mechanical background with hands-on experience in pumps, valves, filtration systems, chemical dosing systems, and other water treatment infrastructure.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety protocols specific to water treatment, including confined space entry and handling hazardous materials.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery in a water treatment environment.
