Electrical Inspector

Electrical Inspector Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverable hardware and verifying all forms of electrical connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Verify correct assembly and finishing of electrical parts, including painting and surface treatment.
- Perform intermediate inspection checks for non-product certification activities.
- Monitor operators within the product certification scheme and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Complete and certify all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
- Raise and maintain relevant data records and non-conformance reports.
- Produce inspection and quality control documentation, including history sheets.
- Care for and use specialized inspection tools.
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
- Meet inspection times and maintain high workmanship standards and product quality.
- Maintain a good housekeeping policy.
Requirements:
- Formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC.
- Approved apprenticeship framework or vocational G or H units with further education.
- Electrical background and relevant experience.
