Job Overview:

This is a permanent position that requires a high level of skill and expertise in floor laying and related tasks. As a Flooring Technician, you will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all flooring projects are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To install, repair, and maintain various types of flooring, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile flooring.
  • To carry out repairs in tenanted social housing properties around Birmingham.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in flooring installation and repair. To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A CSCS Card.
  • Relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Floor laying or a related field.
  • Experience working in social housing or on maintenance contracts.
  • Experience fitting and laying different types of flooring.
Benefits:

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Potential to earn up to £46,000 per year.
  • £28,000- £32,000 per year basic salary.
  • Callout charges of £1,000 per week (you can take on as many as 1 in 6, so a possible £8,000 per year).
  • Monthly job completion bonuses of up to £500 per month.
  • A company van and fuel card.
  • Uniform and PPE provided.
