About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential care home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children to achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of children are met.

Requirements

  • Patience, empathy, and understanding in working with children who have experienced trauma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A driving license and ability to drive children to appointments and activities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
