We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our dynamic team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 8a Senior Clinical/Counselling Child Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological services to children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments and treatments of children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
  • Undertake highly specialist clinical work, including urgent assessments, parenting support, and complex cases.
  • Provide expert supervision and consultation to other staff within the team.
  • Engage in treatment and outcome monitoring, using normed measures associated with CYP-IAPT.

Successful applicants will possess extensive experience working with challenging children and young people, as well as knowledge of legislation related to children's safeguarding and procedures.

The successful candidate will be required to have a post-graduate qualification in psychology and registration with a relevant professional or regulatory body.

A competitive salary of £83,000 - £110,059 per annum is on offer, reflecting the senior nature of this role and the need for experienced professionals to lead our team.
