About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our health, safety and wellbeing strategy across our geographic regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement a comprehensive health, safety and wellbeing plan.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform regular site inspections and assurance visits to ensure compliance with health, safety and wellbeing regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, supply chain partners and regulators to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in the 24/7 on-call rota to provide support for incident management.
  • Collaborate with capital delivery teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
  • Develop and present performance reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in health, safety and wellbeing, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Hold a NEBOSH Diploma and be working towards CMIOSH certification.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work at a senior level.
  • Full UK driving licence.
