Transport Operations Manager

At Culina Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the supervision of the Transport Team and the driver team, ensuring that all vehicles and drivers are utilized efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate drivers and vehicles to loads in the most efficient way, taking into account holidays, sickness, drivers' hours, and WTD regulations.
- Plan drivers' start times to meet site dispatch KPI.
- Communicate with third-party hauliers to ensure collection times are adhered to from site.
- Communicate with collection or delivery points to advise of any delays.
- Adhere to the business Health & Safety policy, ensuring that all accidents are reported.
Requirements:
- Transport experience in an FMCG environment.
- Knowledge and experience of tachograph/driving rules and regulations.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
