About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Construction Health and Safety Specialist at Babcock, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring strategic goals and objectives are implemented to the highest standard.

You will provide technical advice and guidance to senior project managers and operational teams around managing and monitoring health & safety during construction/CDM projects. Key responsibilities include supporting operational teams through the design phase by reviewing drawings and risk assessments, ensuring all pre-condition surveys are completed as required, and identifying non-compliance issues and reporting them through appropriate means.

The successful candidate must have robust knowledge of health and safety legislation, knowledge of CDM regulations 2015, and knowledge of general construction techniques and principles. A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject is also required, with IOSH certification being preferred. The ability to achieve and maintain Standard (SC) security clearance for this role is essential.
