Acute Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in A&E Medicine to join our successful Emergency Medicine department at a prestigious NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for examining and treating patients in the Emergency Department, supporting clinical decision-making, and participating in senior medical meetings.
About the Role:
- Examine and treat patients in the Emergency Department
- Support clinical decision-making of medical and nursing clinicians
- Attend senior medical meetings and participate in departmental discussions
- Act as Educational and Clinical Supervisor for junior and middle-grade medical staff
- Undertake and supervise clinical audits and quality improvement projects
About the Department:
Our Emergency Medicine department is a Level 1 Trauma Centre and hosts the UK's only £20m National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Surgical Reconstruction and Microbiology Research Centre (SRMRC).
