Our EPSRC-funded project focuses on identifying key behaviours in crowds that signal potential violence.

We seek a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at the Department of Psychology in central Cambridge. The appointed person will have a PhD in perception, social cognition, applied psychology, or a related field and must pass security screening carried out by UKRI Government (NSTIx).

Familiarity with Matlab/Python or similar programming languages for image manipulation is desirable, but not essential. Key responsibilities include behaviour identification and creation of stimulus libraries.

This fixed-term position is available until 31 August 2026 in the first instance. We offer an attractive salary: £33,00040,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Closing date: Sunday 17th November 2024. Interviews will take place week commencing 18th November 2024.
