Job Title: Shunter Driver

Pertemps Banbury is seeking a skilled Shunter Driver to cover a short-term booking for our client based in Banbury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Shift Manager
  • Safe movement of trailer units
  • Manoeuvring trailers around the site, onto storage or loading bays
  • Coupling and uncoupling of trailers
  • Adhering to strict Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures
Requirements:
  • Must hold a HGV 1 UK driving licence (Cat CE)
  • At least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK in the last 2 years
  • Maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes
  • Hold a valid CPC DQC
  • Hold a valid Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience using a Tug unit would be an advantage

Please note that this role requires a UK licence with a CE entitlement and at least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the last 2 years, for insurance purposes.
