**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Western Biomass Operating Company - Tilbury Green Energy Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the electrical and instrumentation systems within the power plant, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with industry best practices
  • Providing support and input into the site's engineering integrity strategy and asset risk register
  • Working flexibly to meet the needs of the business

Requirements:

  • C&G / NVQ level 3 in an Electrical or C&I engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • A good understanding of all HSE aspects, with IOSH Managing Safely preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of maintaining biomass or thermal power plant processes, permit and safety systems, and CEMS/MCert equipment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility at all times
