Job Role
We are seeking a Relief Young People's Support Worker to join our team. As a Relief Worker, you will provide support to our young people on a casual, hourly paid basis, covering staff absence and busy periods. You will work on a residential rota, with shifts ranging from 2pm to 10pm, 7.30am to 2pm, or shorter parts of these shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide enabling support to young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical, personal, and emotional needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide a person-centred approach to care.
- Support young people to achieve their individual outcomes and progress within their care plans.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with experience of direct work with children and families, or experience working with children or adults with a learning disability and/or autism spectrum condition. You will also need to be able to work flexibly and be available for shifts on a casual basis.
