Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £44,000 per annum, with opportunities for overtime and further training. In addition, the company offers 26 days' holiday and a potential route into career progression.

Job Description

We are looking for a multi-skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance on site. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in electrical or mechanical building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out lighting installation, fault-finding, and lamp replacement
  • Perform emergency lighting tests
  • Work with control panels and change ballast
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Maintain and update log books
  • Complete plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets
  • Maintain and repair pumps and motors

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 2&3 Mechanical qualification
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with good communication skills
  • Client-facing with ability to provide trade certificates

Working Hours and Location

The role is based on a static site in Kensington, South West London, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
