Job Description

This Reception teacher position is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated primary teacher or ECT to join our client school in Cambridge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Reception pupils, whilst also contributing to the school's mission to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Teach the EYFS curriculum to small groups of children, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of each individual child.
  2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching strategies to promote pupil engagement and understanding.
  3. Assess pupil progress regularly, using data to inform your teaching practice and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school initiatives, promoting a cohesive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified primary teacher or ECT with a passion for early years education.
  • Ability to commute to Cambridge on a daily basis.
  • Experience teaching EYFS.
  • Confidence to lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school policies.

Salary & Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
