Teaching and Learning Support Professional

As a Teaching and Learning Support Professional, you will be working closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored support to students in a SEMH school environment. Your primary focus will be on supporting students with challenging behaviours, helping them to develop social and emotional skills, and promoting positive relationships within the school community.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting pupils outside of the classroom, managing behaviour, and collaborating with teachers to develop effective strategies for student support. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating effectively with parents and carers. Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that enables students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working with teenagers
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach
- Experience in an SEMH school or setting (desired)
