Job Overview
We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part-time basis. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. The role is contracted to 43 weeks per year, with shifts covering 5 out of 7 days.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets our clients' expectations
  2. Overseeing and implementing menu changes to enhance our food services
  3. Identifying opportunities to improve our food services based on customer feedback
  4. Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  5. Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  6. Monitoring inventories to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked
  7. Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
  8. Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations

Our Ideal Candidate:
  1. Is passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  2. Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  3. Has experience supervising a team
  4. Has experience in a similar Chef role
  5. Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
  6. Has a flexible approach to working

The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
