We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part-time basis. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. The role is contracted to 43 weeks per year, with shifts covering 5 out of 7 days.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets our clients' expectations
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes to enhance our food services
- Identifying opportunities to improve our food services based on customer feedback
- Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
- Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
- Monitoring inventories to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked
- Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Is passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Has experience supervising a team
- Has experience in a similar Chef role
- Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
- Has a flexible approach to working
The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
