Overview

Salary
£55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description
You will be responsible for an element of business unit performance, such as sales targets and customer service levels relating to Highways and Highways Drainage. Section sustainability and growth of not only your team, but the wider Roads (& T&I) community will be key. Engaging with and developing good working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities / Developers and Combined Authorities across the north east & Cumbria, is essential. You will also work on projects such as design support for OBC and FBC's across Tyne & Wear and Teesside, helping clients (and WSP internal teams where applicable) obtain valuable 3rd party funding from DfT and other key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
A degree in Highways design related field or equivalent, along with substantial highways design experience and technical skills appropriate to the discipline, is required. You must also be experienced in working with Local Authority Clients and Developers, and have a strong local network of contacts that can be built upon.
