Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Hardware Engineer to join our Radiotherapy Physics Computing Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiotherapy systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Investigate technical issues raised by users and resolve them in a timely manner to ensure system security and operation are not compromised.
  2. Hardware and Software Implementation: Plan and manage the implementation of hardware and software solutions with internal and external parties to minimize disruption to treatment delivery.
  3. MEL Testing and Validation: Assist in testing the Medical Equipment LAN following repair or upgrade to ensure patient safety.
  4. Aria Patient Management System Support: Provide advice and training for physics, radiography, and medical staff on the Aria system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT services, particularly in radiotherapy systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
