Electromechanical Engineer

Allstaff Recruitment is currently seeking an Electromechanical Workshop Engineer for a rapidly growing company in Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Service, maintain and customise food manufacturing machinery.
• Prepare machines for sale by following set checklists.
• Perform service and/or maintenance on industrial machines.
• Fault finding on electrical systems.
• Design small-scale electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Stripping down existing machinery and carrying out repairs.
• Programming drives with pre-programmed manufacturer software and settings.

This is a site-based position requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

• An NVQ Level 2/3 in an electrical engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years Electro-Mechanical Engineering experience ideally within a workshop.
• Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems is essential.
• A forklift licence would be advantageous.
• Solidworks, AutoCAD or relevant drawing software experience.
• Rockwell, Alan Bradley and Omron software experience desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is £32,500 per annum based on industry standards for similar roles in Milton Keynes.
