Wayman Group seeks an accomplished Drama and Performing Arts Educator to join their team at an Ofsted Good school in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching GCSE Performing Arts on a full-time basis, leveraging their expertise to inspire students and foster a love for the arts.

About the Role:

  • Teach GCSE Performing Arts to students, developing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
  • Manage classroom resources effectively, creating a safe and stimulating environment that promotes academic achievement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts or a related field.
  • Postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven track record of teaching Performing Arts at GCSE level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, paid in line with the MPS/UPS teacher pay scale.
