About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at TeacherActive. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in a challenging but positive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and progress.
Requirements
  • TA qualification or at least 6 months of experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the pupils and the school.
