About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Service Manager to join our team at Allington Court Care Home. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medication records.
  • Ensure adequate staffing is maintained within the home.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
  • Liaise with local partners to raise the care home's profile in the local area and beyond.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK NMC pin and commitment to NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
  • Understanding of the impact of quality nursing care on residents' lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
  • Ability to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with a compassionate approach to teamwork.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £52,062, depending on experience.
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional night visits or weekend work.
