About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NDF Trader to join our team at Marlin Selection Recruitment. As a key member of our trading desk, you will be responsible for executing and managing NDF trades, maintaining and developing client relationships, and ensuring optimal trading strategies in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trading and Execution: Execute NDF trades across LATAM and Asian markets, ensuring accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market conditions, including economic, political, and financial factors affecting LATAM and Asia.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with market updates, trading strategies, and customized solutions.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage the risk associated with NDF positions, ensuring adherence to the bank's risk appetite.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues across trading, sales, research, and risk management to ensure seamless execution of trades.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in NDF trading with a focus on LATAM and Asia markets.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of NDF products and market mechanics. Proficiency in trading platforms and tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Excel/VBA.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
