Job Title: Pathology Consultant Opportunity
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pathology Doctor to join our team at NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde as a Locum Consultant in Neuropathology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support patients and their families by communicating clinical information and explaining diagnoses.
- Deliver clinical care to patients and conduct ward rounds and outpatient clinics.
- Oversee the smooth running of the Pathology Department, planning workload and staffing requirements.
- Supervise and teach junior medical staff.
- Adhere to the NMC professional Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience at Consultant level or references to support transition to Consultant level.
- Evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK.
- Pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
About the Role: As a Pathology Doctor with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, you will work with a friendly, multidisciplinary team of dedicated healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases. You will use advanced medical equipment to identify disease and build treatment plans based on your expert knowledge.
