AWE Plc is seeking an experienced Control Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training in practical skills, knowledge, and behaviours for control systems apprentices.

Job Description:

This role requires a qualified engineer with experience in control and instrumentation maintenance and installation, holding at least a BTEC / City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have proven presentation skills, good communication skills, both written and verbal, and extensive experience in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver training programmes for control systems apprentices
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and make recommendations for improvement
  • Line manage apprentices and provide coaching and development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in control and instrumentation maintenance and installation
  • Proven teaching or training experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
